He probably looked pretty mysterious to most people in the city where he lived now. Even though he wore the normal fashion for the area, whenever he was outside, walking through the streets, he was careful to keep his hood up, carefully positioned and secured so it was hard for it fall off. It was pretty much the only way he knew he'd get peace to go shopping or do anything really.
Quatre had been here for sometime, having traveled here as part of an ambassadorship with the country. Luckily, his guide at the start had warned him - he would be seen as both exotic and suspicious. His blond hair was not something most people saw and earn him curious attention. The fact that his hair was short would make people question if he was trustworthy or not.
So he chose to hide it, at least with people who wouldn't understand. His hair color had earned him looks back home too, but the length of his hair was not an issue there; it was normal. At least he had managed to convince some people that he wasn't suspicious.
And that's where he headed back to after running some necessary errands since he had letters to send and a few things to buy. When he got home, he passed through the gate and immediately headed to a place where people outside the property couldn't see his hair. Only then did he untie it and remove his hood.
He sighed, leaning against the fence post behind him. It was exhausting trying to hide all the time. But he didn't with at least one person.
Short hair the color of the sun? Yes. People would view the man with suspicion and avoid him, if they didn't simply attack or try to capture him. Zishu doesn't regret the warning he'd given Quatre after the short initial meeting.
There was just something about him that drew Zishu to him. So he kept a careful, subtle watch over Quatre's movements, wanting to make sure no one causes Quatre trouble. To his cousin and the majority of his men, this is simply part of his job. Expected, of the Leader of the Window of Heaven.
Knowing Quatre has returned, Zishu makes his way only to pause, studying the lines of exhaustion. His gaze drops briefly before he walks forward to join him.
Quatre appreciated that warning more than Zishu knew. He had, of course, been probably a little overconfident but a warning for his safety was something that he had heeded. In the course of his time here, he had seen people get harassed for the less and his was a pretty big deal to them.
He was also aware that there were those sent to follow him at a distance, to make sure that nothing happened to him. Even though he knew, he never said anything either to them or to the person sending them with him. He also appreciated that. He was sure his father would be very angry if something were to happen. Not that he would know about it for sometime...
But as Zishu approached, Quatre's features brightened. It was always nice to see him. This man had been very kind to him and didn't make him feel weird about his hair.
"Of course. I would love to join you. Tea sounds wonderful."
Nearly completely canonblind post... GO!
