[The red skin is to be expected, but he sees no sign of infection. Xingchen holds his breath when he feels the sleepy nuzzle. Had he woken him? His brow furrows and he rubs over Zishu's chest in slow motions.]

Rest... I'm sorry.

[ A familiar voice that means safety, just as surely as his soulmate's. So he hums, drawing in a deeper breath before going still again, fingers curling in Xingchen's clothes to hold on. ]

[He smiles and bundles Zishu in the blankets, resting back against the pillows. The hand that holds onto him is kissed and then Xingchen is still too, half-dreaming. What more can he do for his A-Shu? For his A-Xing? Anything to make them smile or laugh will do.]

[ Xingchen is excellent for snuggling~

Zishu thought so before, and will only see his thought confirmed if/when he wakes to find himself with company! All he needs though are those he cares for to be safe and happy. ]

[It's a skill he has been able to practice in this city! Xingchen kisses the top of Zishu's head now and then, letting himself fall into a meditative stance. Like this, he can pass healing energy into Zishu and help calm those still red wounds.]

[ Xingchen's energy is warm and leave Zishu in a happily humming puddle all cuddled up to him as his body heals. ]

[His energy is like moonlight, but the warmth is perceptible (instead of being nonexistent). He wraps the flowing bands of light around Zishu, bathing the dear man in it. No matter what becomes of them after this, Zishu will never be alone.]

[ How can he do anything but heal and recover when he has such strong and insistent protectors and healers? ]

[Xingchen steals a soft kiss as his light dims. Then he too rests, hugging Zishu all the while. Healing tends to make him a little dizzy, but he doesn't care. He's safe with his A-Shu.]
