[ He grins in fond amusement at the confidence in the order. So impressive~ ]

Yes, Mother Hen.

[ Zishu heads for the dining area of the hospital to put together a good plate of food and some water before returning to their room. ]

[By then Kexing is waiting for him, perched on the bed, eyes bright.]

It looks like you did well, A-Xu~ Eat!

[He pats his lap. What? Could there be a better seat in any room?]

[ Seeing where Kexing hopes he'll sit makes him snicker and shake his head playfully. But there's absolutely no reason not to, so he makes sure the door is closed before...making himself comfortable on his silly soulmate, claiming a kiss just because. ]

Ridiculous.

[ But he starts with a few bites of food before taking the two pills. ]

[Kexing is delighted when his offer is accepted! He wraps his arms around Zishu's waist and presses into the kiss. If his soulmate's senses are still a little dull, he needs to make sure his A-Xu feels every bit of his affection!]

I'm comfortable, right?

[He grins as if that is a fine aspiration.]

Good job. You'll need more later, but this will make sure the medicine stays in your system.

[ Secretly, he loves how those arms immediately wrap around him. Zishu lingers in the kiss, wanting Kexing to feel his love too.

Only to chuckle at the silly question and he grins, shaking his head fondly before continuing to eat. But he also feeds his soulmate, holding up tidbits to those soft lips. ]

Just tell me when, Lao Wen.

[How can he not feel loved? His A-Xu is with him, kissing him and letting him hold him! Kexing is quite content and he parts his lips to taste his soulmate - as well as those tidbits he is offered~]

I won't leave you wondering. [He kisses Zishu's cheek.] If you feel sleepy, that's okay. I will protect you.

[ There will be even more, soon. As soon as that last nail is out and they've both recovered.

Zishu hums quietly, content in the moment as he alternates who gets a bite. And he makes sure his love drinks too - and proves he brought water, not wine. ]

Do you want me to sleep some before tonight?

[There isn't any rush. Kexing has his whole lifetime - and beyond - for his darling A-Xu. He grins between bites and sips on the water, approving of his soulmate's choice. Wine is delicious and the effect is nice, but right now, Zishu needs water more.]

If you can. I don't expect a strong backlash, but I can't be sure. It would be best if you are as rested as you can be for it.

[ But Zishu wants his Lao Wen. In every single way.

He huffs a little, blowing a breath up at his bangs. ]

[He will have him. Kexing will do all of the work if it means his A-Xu can have what he craves faster!

But healing has to come first. He grins at the frustration and kisses his soulmate deeply.]

We're almost there.

[ The passionate kiss soothes him and he presses greedily into it, burying fingers in his love's hair to hold him close. ]

[The need they share, the passion give him hope. His A-Xu wants him! Kexing can't help beaming when they part, his lips swollen.]

I've waited a long time to find you.

[ How could he not? That bright smile has him huff out a quiet laugh before tracing those swollen lips. ]

[Kexing bows his head, a proud peacock preening and then humbling himself before his love.]

You...trust me. Thank you, A-Xu.

[ His fingers move to stroke over his love's pretty hair. ]

You could have given up on me, as I had on myself. Instead, you have fought me to fight for me.

[He blinks softly, slowly, tucking himself against his beloved.]

Never. You are too important, too beautiful and wonderful. The world would hold no meaning without you.

[ His throat goes dry and his eyes close as he cradles his love close, shuddering at those simple, beautiful words. ]

Lao Wen...

[Kexing loves being here most. He had trouble accepting embraces at first - he is too accustomed to violence - but now he loves them. At least when they come from Zhou Zishu.]

I can support you - and I will! [He sounds suspiciously choked.] You just have to fight to live, that's all.
