[ He chuckles and nudges their noses together, petting over his silly love's soft hair then down over his back. ]

You healed me. I'm strong enough to handle being pounced.

[ Zishu grins at Kexing. ]

[Kexing bends and lifts Zishu, carrying him to his bed. He lays beside him and strokes over his cheek and his neck.]

I love you so much. I don't think I can put it into words. No one will be able to hurt you ever again, A-Xu. I would kill them for even considering it.

[ He settles beside his love and presses close. ]

You don't need to, my Lao Wen. I know. Anyone who tries to hurt you again will be destroyed.

[He brushes his thumb over Zishu's lips.]

I pity anyone who faces you - except for myself. [He grins slowly.] I will spar A-Xu whenever he likes!

[There is a small coo and suddenly the monster is snuggled between them. Is that their butt? Their face? Who knows.]

[ He purses his lips to kiss that thumb! Then smirks and tangles their legs together. ]

I like sparring with Lao Wen.

[ Only to laugh quietly as their little monster wiggles between them. He pets over the cute little wings. ]

He got jealous of being ignored.

No one else is worth the trouble. [Kexing grins and rubs their legs together.] I think we should wait for a better time to get married. But it's going to happen. Just not on a train.

[He is about to kiss Zishu again when the baby monster appears. He laughs and lifts the little one onto his chest.]

Did you? Poor baby.

[ He laughs again. ] Peacock. [ His voice is, however, laced with affection. ] No, not on a train. Once this mess is dealt with though.

[ Grinning, he tickles over the little monster. ]

[Kexing smirks proudly and then, abruptly, softens. Little wings flutter against his hands and he pats the monster's back.]

Works for me. As soon as it's done, I'll make preparations.

[A lopsided leg wiggles. Hey, that does tickle!]

[ He smiles warmly, hands continuing to move over the silly looking monster. ]

I look forward to formally being yours.

[ Because he already considers himself as belonging to and with Wen Kexing. ]

[A silly, but sweet monster that obviously needs help navigating the world! Maybe that's why Kexing likes them so much.]

Mm when you say it like that, I'm ready to say my vows right here!

[He sets the baby monster on Zishu's chest and grins.]

But first... Names?

[ Zishu doesn't mind helping! ]

I considered myself yours from the moment you told me who you were.

[ He settles on his back and cuddles the silly little monster with a grin. ]

You first, Lao Wen.

I think one of his fathers should gracefully offer part of his name.

[Kexing's eyes sparkle mischievously and the little chaos monster chooses that moment to flop on his side, wiggling his feet.]

Zi. To balance out his other...less...graceful traits.

[Then he smiles warmly, genuinely.]

I was yours the moment my parents handed me over to you, A-Xu.

[ He chuckles quietly and tickles over those feet. ]

Are you calling our child ugly, Lao Wen? Zi might get upset with you!

[ But his smile is soft when he gazes back at Kexing. ]

I belonged to you then, too. I just didn't know you still lived.

[They are cute little feet! Each toe is perfect even if the feet they are attached to point in different directions.]

Not at all~ I would call Zi...chaotic. Clumsy too.

[But said clumsiness is cute! Kexing tickles the monster's belly, making his wings flutter.]

I had to be clever to see A-Xu again.

He is at that!

[ The laugh bubbles out and he grins at his love and their odd little monster baby. ]

My Lao Wen is very clever.

Little Zi needs us, that's all.

[Kexing likes being needed. He remembers a certain fussy baby girl he had cared for in the past.]

The ghosts were stupid, A-Xu. Violent, terrifying and stupid. I learned how to play their game.

Ah. He does. As I need my Lao Wen.

[ Not just for the physical pleasures they enjoy. But all of Kexing. ]

[His smile widens and he cups Zishu's cheek against his palm.]

I live for you! You are my first priority.

[fated_dance]

[ He rubs his cheek against that hand, gaze warm and at peace as he looks at his Lao Wen. ]

I know. You have worked too hard for me to doubt you.

[ghostlord]

Anything you want to know, I'll tell you. [Kexing speaks softly, firmly.] If you want an oath from me, I'll give you that too.

[fated_dance]

[ He clicks his tongue and lightly tugs on a lock of Kexing's soft hair before smoothing it down tenderly. ]

I don't need an oath. We have no need for lies between us.

[He makes a soft whining sound at the tug.]

That's right. My past is bad. I've made bad choices. I've hurt people and killed people. But I'm done with that. If A-Xu wants me, I'm his for good. Ghost Valley is yours too. I don't care if the Emperor comes after you, I will protect you.

[ He gently massages Kexing's abused scalp, thumb occasionally brushing over his love's cheek as he listens. ]

I don't care what you've done in the past. You're mine now. Anyone who tries to come after you will regret it.

[Kexing smiles at the care and slides his hand into Zishu's hair. His soulmate is a tantalizing mix of soft and hard.]

The Ghost Valley is mine; if they tried to overthrow me, I wouldn't hesitate to tear them to ribbons. Zhao Jing is in no state to move - much less come after me. Everyone knows of his deeds, so the other sects won't help him.

I'm safer than I have ever been.

[ Zishu doesn't consider himself a nice man. But those he loves, he loves fiercely with all his heart. He's still not always nice or gentle. ]

They can try to overthrow you, but I would be right there beside you to destroy them.
