Zishu chuckles. "I want to. Will you let me?"

He has a much better feeling about this marriage's prospects now. It helps that he feels Runyu actually relaxing with him.

The display of magic has him draw in a startled breath, watching how the water reflects the sky, and smiles, only to laugh again at the comment.

"No. We have been doing something equally important though." Getting to know a little bit about each other, in a way that was intimate as well as more practical. He drops his head to dare nuzzle a bare, wet shoulder, though doesn't bother wiping the smile from his lips beforehand.

"I've never been spoiled. I have no way to know if I'll like it."

But if it was anything like this then he had a feeling he'd enjoy it a great deal. Especially when he had such an appreciation for his powers too. He was sure he was the only one who could really do things like this here but that didn't bother him. Runyu had decided he only wanted to use them for his husband. Someone who appreciated them but showed no signs of wanting to abuse them.

Zishu's head nuzzled his shoulder and his eyes opened to slide his gaze to the side so he could look at the man. "I didn't think I was going to enjoy myself here. It seems so cold. But, I think that you've changed my mind by allowing me so much warmth."

Daring to turn around, he let himself straddle the man's lap as he wrapped his arms around his shoulders. All so he could look at him better. "I don't like being cold. Will you keep me warm?"

Careful spoiling. Some things just can't be done. But if he can, and it won't hurt those under his care (needlessly), then he will see it done.

And Zishu doubts Runyu will mind what he has in mind for this 'spoiling!'

Cold? He could see how people would feel that way here. And he deals often in death - sometimes it clings to him as an extra layer. He doesn't want that to touch his husband though.

Runyu's movement prompts him to loosen his hold, though his hands stay at the other's waist to help ensure he's steady until he's settled in the position he seeks. He allows himself to curl his arms back around his husband as those arms wrap around his shoulders, and his smile warms.

"Yes."

He'd been so sure this was going to be another prison for him. Another place where he'd be controlled and he'd have to worry about every move that he made. The more time passed the more he realized that wasn't the case. In just one night, Runyu was sure that he fully trusted this man. Why? Even he couldn't say and didn't want to say.

That warm smile was enough to make anyone melt. But he knew that it was all his. Wet fingers even came to trace it, admiring how it looked on this handsome face. He gave him one of his own as his fingers moved to trace the lines of Zishu's face next. Like he was mapping out a path to memorize for the future.

"I leave myself to your capable hands then. To always keep me warm."

A prison mostly in keeping what he really is hidden from anyone not Zishu. But this is someone he doesn't want to control or cage.

He has the status to manage it. To give his husband pools of water to relax in and be himself, that will be jealously guarded and warded as fiercely as their own rooms.

He hums at the trust he feels placed in him, nuzzling those fingers before giving them a playful lick. He runs one hand over his husband's back, as if checking the temperature of his skin.

"Are you cold now?"

The water had warmed him a great deal but under it Zishu was likely to notice that Runyu didn't really stay warm easily. Not when his energies were aligned with Yin. Water and ice? They weren't heat oriented at all.

Laughing softly, he tilted his head to the side. They'd gone from banter to flirtation yet it felt so natural. He couldn't say that he minded. Far from it.

"Will you warm me up again if I say yes?"

He can feel it. He's used to noticing the subtle things, details that would go unnoticed by most. But that just means he'll need to take extra steps to keep his husband nice and warm!

He's happy to accept this challenge. He grins, delighting in each laugh he earns. He presses his lips to that bared neck in a playful kiss.

"I did promise."

The kiss made him shiver. It was a nice feeling, those lips on his neck. It made him smile a little more. He'd been unsure about being with a stranger so intimately during his days leading up to this moment. Now, he felt like he could and would want that.

So, he leaned in close so his lips could be near his ear. The water had him so warm but he had no problem lying right now. It was for...a good cause.

"Yes. I'm very cold."

He'd had higher hopes once he'd seen Runyu from above, before the ceremony. He was at least sure he could go through the motions expected of him.

Now? There are no doubts. Not when Runyu leans into his touch like this, teasing right back. Then it's his turn to shiver when breath brushes against his ear. A lie - but it doesn't matter. He chuckles quietly and lifts his head, turning it to capture playful lips in a proper kiss. His hands aren't idle, starting to move over his husband's body. Mapping muscle and skin, tracing over the scars Runyu had given himself in a desperate attempt to hide.

Dipping down to give his rear a playful squeeze.

It was actually his first kiss in his entire life. A first of many things that night. Still, he didn't back down from it, leaning in to practically demand more as he pressed himself close to his husband. They should probably move at some point but he wasn't eager to suggest that.

Let them start here. He liked what they had here. A warm pool of water to sit in as things grew more heated between them. He sighed into the kiss, moving his fingers up to tangle in the long strands of Zishu's hair.

Virgin? Yes. Submissive? Definitely not. He was very much an active participant in this as he made soft sounds into the kiss to let the man know exactly what he liked the best.

That demand is answered. Zishu likes this direction and happily shows his husband how lips and tongue and teeth can tease and explore, bringing pleasure and heat. He's just as aware they should eventually move - but for now, this tub will do. Runyu's element is water - it's only right, in his mind, to begin this partnership where he's comfortable.

He hums as hands slip into his hair and breaks the kiss to catch his breath. He nudges their noses together and pays attention to what draws those delightful sounds. He doesn't need someone to submit to him - learning Runyu isn't about to just roll over rather delights him!

He presses playful little kisses along his husband's jaw on the way to an ear and licks the shell as his hands continue their exploration.

"Do dragons like to mark their mates?"

Panting softly now, Runyu moved his hands to slide down the arms that were still moving to explore his body. Not to stop them, definitely not that. Instead, he wanted to feel the muscles in his arms move as those hands got to know him, arching to press himself into the touches.

Shuddering from the tongue teasing his ear, he rolled his head to the side to expose it more if Zishu wanted to continue that. The question though?

"Mmm...I don't know much about dragons and their mates. It wasn't something I discussed with my father." Who happened to be the only dragon he knew aside from himself. "But I know I want to bite you..."

Who is he to ignore such an offer? He presses slow, hot kisses over the bared neck as his hands pay extra attention when his husband arches into his touch. Admiring the supple strength in this dragon's body.

Runyu wants to bite him. He'd had a vague thought to that, hearing it's true has his breath catch. He lifts his head again to kiss his husband again, then gaze into those eyes he's already learning can catch his attention with a glance.

"Then you should."

Then he should.

A simple thing to say but it was just what he needed. He wanted to mark Zishu, claim him as his. Whether it was his need or his dragon needs, he couldn't be sure. Did it even matter? Not to Runyu who gazed into those dark eyes before moving in to kiss his way along his neck.

When he reached the area between shoulder and neck, he shuddered a little at what he wanted to do. It was so...exciting. Then he bit down, wrapping himself around his husband as he held on tight to make sure he formed a decent bruise.

He wanted it to last. To have Zishu know it was there for days. Maybe even weeks.

No, it didn't matter why Runyu wanted to mark him. Just that he did.

Zishu tips his head out of the way, arching as those lips send shivers down his spine. The bite itself is a mix of pleasure and pain that draws a moan from deep in his chest and he wraps his arms tight around his husband, clinging just as determinedly. His body's blatant arousal can't be missed, trapped between them but ignored for now.

His eyes slip closed - this is a mark he won't let his healing energies erase. Not one mark his husband gives him will be healed now.

Stopping just short of breaking skin, he pulled back and ran his tongue over the bite he'd made. Soft fingers moved up to touch the work that he'd made. His. Zishu was his. No one else could have him now that his dragon had claimed him. Runyu smiled and leaned down to drag his teeth over his shoulder in biting kisses.

A shift let him feel the arousal touch his own. It sent a jolt through him that made him gasp against Zishu's skin.

"Take me to bed. Don't stop warming me..."

He wouldn't care even if skin was broken. But somehow, this is better. The lick and touch to tender bruise has him shudder but not complain. And those biting little kisses! He presses into them too.

Only to force himself to some sort of calm at that request. He bends to nibble briefly at his husband's shoulder before adjusting his hold, then stands, lifting Runyu up into his arms. "Hold onto me," he answers.

Even dripping wet, he steps out of the tub and swiftly dries them both off before moving to scoop his husband right back up into his arms and carry him to bed. Once there, he sets Runyu down and follows, stretching out over him and steals another deep kiss.

Holding onto him was easy when this was what he wanted all along. Runyu let himself cling to his husband, laughing as he was swept up into his arms. Dropped onto the bed, he smiled up at him, lifting his head to meet the kiss, hands moving up to pull him down on top of him.

Let him have all that body heat. Let him feel how his husband wanted him. He answered with biting at his lip when they parted this time. Like he was trying to keep Zishu from leaving.

But he did so the man could do as he wished, shifting under him to welcome it.

Every laugh feels like a victory. Zishu grins down at him and presses him down to the bed, letting their legs tangle together.

The bite when their lips part has him shiver and press his hips down against his husband's, wanting Runyu to know just what those nips do to him. But they need something to help ease the way, and he has to pull away from those kisses to look in the drawer beside the bed. Whether baring the mark his dragon had given him is intentional or not...he won't say.

Runyu gasped at the feel of those hips against his own. There was no hiding what all of this was doing to him, after all. He wasn't even going to try. Instead, he just shifted under him to let him feel it just...as...

Oh that bruise looked so good stretched out. His eyes locked onto it and before he knew it, he'd surged up to bite his shoulder too. All to leave another mark while he waited for the oil to be collected.

Oh no. No trying to ignore what their bodies want. Give in and enjoy!

Zishu's hand finds the oil just as his husband bites his shoulder, sending a jolt of pleasure-pain through him and dragging a moan from him. He tilts his head away, tossing his hair out of the way, welcoming those bites and rocks his hips down against his husband's again as he pants for breath.

He lifts his hips off Runyu then, lips moving back to nip and nibble along Runyu's shoulder and up his neck as he blindly opens the container of oil to coat his fingers. Then reaches between his dragon's legs, trailing teasingly slicked fingers over a hip as teeth and lips work on making his own marks on pale skin.

Moaning into the rocking, he shuddered when he pulled away from his shoulder. Another mark, another bruise. And ones that Zishu was happily accepting and embracing. It meant the world to him as he arched up into the attention he was receiving. Feeling bites leaving their own marks, his eyes fluttered closed and he spread his legs to welcome the man between them.

This was his first time but Runyu realized it didn't feel like it. Everything just felt so natural between them. Tangling his fingers into Zishu's hair, he pressed himself closer, practically demanding that he give him more. This was his first time being allowed to want, to ask...to be allowed and to be rewarded for doing so. He didn't want to stop now that the gate had been opened to him.

Zishu has had lovers before. More fumblings than anything. This feels far better, simpler. He smiles as those legs part under him, welcoming him between them, and rubs his lips against a bare shoulder. Nuzzling affectionately - he finds he wants to be affectionate and sweet with his husband.

Fingers in his hair and that body pressing up against him in silent demand for more has him chuckling softly and he turns his head to catch his dragon's lips in a fierce kiss as fingers dip down to stroke over that virgin entrance. A silent promise that he won't leave his husband wanting...at least not for long. There is something to be said for teasing until need turns almost painful before giving in to what their bodies crave.

The bites his dragon have given him make him so very tempted to find out just what Runyu will do if he reaches that point first.

Runyu gasped into the kiss as he felt that finger touched him so intimately. It was strange but not unpleasant. Just not something he was used to. Still, he welcomed it, shifting his hips to encourage him to do more. A little moan was even pressed into the kiss he was being given.

If this was what life would be like with his husband then he couldn't say he minded. Far from it. To be cherished like this and to be treated as an equal here and out there? It was so much more than he ever expected to get.

He was grateful beyond words.

The kiss gentles, but is no less thorough as he takes his time, teasing that entrance into relaxing before working a finger in. Each sound is greedily swallowed as he works on stretching and massaging that entrance looser.

Zishu likes paying this attention to his beautiful dragon husband. Introducing him to pleasure. Showing him how their bodies can move together. Showing him that wanting is permitted between them.
